Young people around the globe are planning a school strike today to protest government and business inaction on climate change. It's expected to be one of the biggest environmental protests ever. It comes as the United Nations prepares for the Climate Action Summit Monday, where the focus will be on sticking to the 2015 Paris climate accord.        The remnants of Tropical Depression Imelda are leaving some parts of east Texas facing disastrous conditions. At least two people have been killed and Thursday saw around 17-hundred rescues and evacuations around Houston. Some communities remain underwater.        One person is dead and five others are hurt after a shooting in Washington, DC. Some of the injured are in critical condition. The shooting happened last night in the courtyard of an apartment complex in Washington's Columbia Heights neighborhood. Officials say it may have been a drive-by shooting.        Facebook says CEO Mark Zuckerberg had a constructive meeting with President Trump Thursday. Zuckerberg was in Washington to meet with lawmakers, listen to their concerns and discuss internet regulation. He had dinner with Democratic lawmakers Wednesday night.        Nike is cutting ties with New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown. The company confirmed yesterday that Brown is not a Nike athlete, but details as to why they decided to part ways was not stated. The move comes shortly after Brown was accused of sexual assault by a former trainer.        Nevada authorities are preparing for people to "Storm Area 51" this weekend. Last June, a 21-year-old college student started a joke Facebook event called "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All Of Us." The U.S. Air Force, however, is warning people not to storm Area 51, so instead, many will be attending the Alienstock music festival in nearby Rachel, Nevada, which will host dozens of musical acts through Sunday.
