Reverend Al Sharpton is hoping George Floyd's death will lead to more accountability and change in the criminal justice system. At Floyd's memorial service in Minneapolis, he said he's felt heartened by the amount of protests across the world since the Memorial Day incident.        More protests are underway across the country following memorial services for George Floyd. Major gatherings have started in New York City, Philadelphia and the Los Angeles area. In New York, protesters are marching through the streets after a memorial for Floyd in Brooklyn.       New York City Police Commissioner Dermot Shea says the purposeful violence being inflicted on members of his department threatens to undermine our democracy. One day after an officer was stabbed and two suffered gunshot wounds, Shea said what could have been peaceful protest has been hijacked by violent anti-cop rhetoric.        Democrats are set to introduce new legislation that will address racial inequalities in the criminal justice system. The package is being worked on by the Congressional Black Caucus and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said it will be introduced on Monday.        All three men charged in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia will stand trial. A judge issued that ruling today after a seven hour hearing. A new piece of evidence revealed was the accused shooter allegedly using a racial slur after Arbery was on the ground.       A YouTube star is facing criminal charges stemming from riots and looting at an Arizona mall over the weekend. Scottsdale police say they received hundreds of tips and videos identifying 23-year-old Jake Paul being at Scottsdale Fashion Square after the protest was declared an unlawful assembly.
