Twelve more hostages have been released by Hamas as part of an extended ceasefire deal with Israel. Yesterday, the temporary pause in fighting was extended an additional two days. CIA Director Bill Burns is reportedly in Qatar to meet with his Israeli and Egyptian counterparts to discuss a further extension of the truce.        The tribute honoring former First Lady Rosalynn [[ ROSE-uh-lynn ]] Carter is over in Atlanta. President Biden was at the service, along with Former President Clinton, and every living first lady. Also on hand was former President Jimmy Carter, her husband of 77 years.        Around 100-million people on the East Coast are set to face freezing temperatures as a cold front hits the region Tuesday night into Wednesday. The National Weather Service says high temperatures are expected to be as much as 20 degrees below average in parts of the Midwest, Great Lakers, and Ohio Valley, as well as areas of the East Coast. Parts of Texas and Florida are expected to be colder as well.        New York City Mayor Adams continues to forcefully reject the sexual assault allegations that surfaced against him last week. City Hall Chief lawyer Lisa Zornberg says the person making the claims has written a book on how to file lawsuits, adding neither the mayor nor the city have been served. Adams has once again said he does not recall ever meeting the person who is making the allegations against him, pressing it's not in his nature to harm someone.        The Newport Beach Police Department is reportedly conducting an investigation into whether Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey had an inappropriate relationship with a minor. Giddey has been the subject of allegations on social media that connected the twenty-one-year-old player to an underage female. The NBA is also investigating the incident.        The 41 trapped construction workers in a collapsed tunnel in the Himalayas are all now safe. Officials said Indian rescuers drilled for days through the debris to reach them. The low-wage workers from some of the country's poorest areas were trapped for 17 days.
