Work requirements for federal social benefits programs remain a key sticking point in debt-ceiling talks. Republicans want the requirements, while Democrats are against the policy. Speaking on Capitol Hill today, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy accused Democrats of being out-of-step with ordinary Americans who favor tighter rules.        Prosecutors in New York are telling former President Trump's attorneys that evidence in their hush money case involving Trump is an audio recording of him and a witness. The evidence was made public in a court filing on Friday by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office. It is not known who the witness is, or when the recording was made.        The Memorial Day weekend rush is underway as TSA prepares to screen roughly ten-million passengers by the end of the holiday. With that amount of people, TSA spokesperson Lisa Farbstein is urging travelers to get to the airport at least two hours ahead of their scheduled flight. She notes the agency has done a few things to speed up check-in lines, like hiring more agents and letting children 17 and younger go through the same checkpoint as their PreCheck enrolled parents.        The White House is rolling out a broad national strategy to fight antisemitism. The Biden administration describes the initiative released on Thursday as unprecedented in scope, as anti-Jewish crime is surging. President Biden says the strategy sends a clear and forceful message that what he called the venom of antisemitism "will not be the story of our time."       JPMorgan Chase is telling one thousand First Republic Bank employees that they are being let go. This comes just weeks after America's largest bank purchased the failed San Francisco lender. JPMorgan did say that 85-percent of First Republic's workers will get either full-time or transitional rolls.        Ford Motor Company has secured a deal with Tesla to expand access to vehicle charging stations in North America. CEO Jim Farley joined Tesla CEO Elon Musk Thursday to announce beginning next year Ford EV's can use the Tesla Supercharger network. Ford customers will gain access to 12-thousand sites in 2024 and will be getting an adapter that will fit the Tesla V2 Superchargers.
