Search For Santa is a 20-minute river ride to view the North Pole aboard the Blackstone Valley Explorer that will feature a reading of the classic Christmas story 'Twas The Night Before Christmasactivity sheets & crayonsa delicious treat, and a scavenger hunt to find some of your favorite Christmas characters including the big guy in red where he'll give a special greeting from the riverbank and pass along a gift to every child!!

 

 

Arrive early for fantastic photo opportunities in front of our custom-made backdrops including a new Search For Santa backdrop, our popular letters to Santa mailbox, and our small gift shop that will include some official Polar Express items – all beside the decorated river landing where music is playing and the spirit of Christmas fills the air!

Democrats are blasting Republicans after they blocked starting debate on voting reform in the Senate. The procedural vote failed to get the 60 votes needed to move forward. Democrats claim Republicans are trying to suppress votes.        Many of the Iran-friendly websites seized today by the U.S. government are back up. Government officials say they took the action because those dozens of websites were spreading disinformation. The action comes just days after Iran elected a new hard-line leader to be its next president.        One teen who got vaccinated says the key to getting more of her peers to get the shot is through social media. Fourteen-year old Angelina Allegrini is one of nearly 17 million children in the U.S. eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine. However, many in that age group are lagging behind others in getting the shots.        Portland's Mayor and Police Chief are instructing officers to no longer respond to some traffic stops. Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler says instead officers will focus on those that present immediate danger and safety-related issues. Wheeler says the move is due to lack of resources. "The Oregonian" reports that at least 130 officers have quit the agency since last summer.       A Golden Retriever is resting after a long swim along the Jersey Shore. Chunk was playing fetch with his owners on June 6th but got spooked and ran into the woods. When two joggers recognized him and approached the dog, it jumped into the water and swam nearly two miles across the bay before being rescued.
